These sculptures appear heavy and monolithic but they are surprisingly light. Created for @hotelparkave with @jacustrauss , they balance a quiet tension. Hovering between stability and collapse, as if they might shift at any moment.

A recent commission for @seacontainersldn , brought to life by LOUD alongside Creative Director @jacustrauss and @janhendzelstudio .
Carved from polystyrene and finished with fibreglass. The rippled edges and double profile are designed to mimic the look of reflections moving under water.
Tying into the maritime theme, it sits on a faceted timber base, hand-carved in Jan’s workshop. The shape is softly irregular, a little weathered, like it’s been on a journey before ending up here.

Artwork for @seedlibrarynyc . Intricate seed marks have been hand painted on to silk, layered repeatedly to create a retro-style pattern that ties in with the bar’s vintage-inspired interiors.
