Raised in a basketball family, Gondrezick believed the game was her destiny. She's faced high expectations due to her All-Star status and public scrutiny, with some doubting her athletic ability and interests outside of the game due to her aesthetic appeal. Her journey has been marked by highs, hard lessons, and the weight of personal loss.
Despite the noise of the crowd, the 28-year-old is on a journey of self-discovery all while remaining true to the game.

This hurts! Truly one of the hardest, most shocking moments of my journey thus far. I was diagnosed with a torn achilles this week and am heading into immediate surgery. I truly don’t wish this upon anyone, but I believe in my creator and in the discipline of becoming the best player and version of myself from this experience.
This does not end my story and despite how hard the context, I am simply just turning the page during this chapter of my life. I really would appreciate everyone’s support and prayers throughout this process. Greater is He that is within me 🙏🏽
Meet Kysre Gondrezick, PLAYBOY’s Miss June 2025.
Kysre is the first current female professional basketball player to also take on the Playmate title. Formerly a WNBA player, Kysre now works as a free agent. The two roles, she says, are not in contrast to each other: “What people label as a transition, I embody as evolution. I’m not stepping outside who I am. I’m building a multidimensional brand.”
It’s taken intentional work to get to this level. “Becoming a WNBA player and getting to that level, you put in a lot of work to get there,” she says. “You have to put in even more work to stay there.”
