Someone mentioned they loved the tones from the shoot I shared last week, so I wanted to break this one down a bit.
The first photo is with Fujifilm’s Classic Chrome plus a few Lightroom edits. The second slide shows the small edits I made in @lightroom . And the last slide is straight out of camera, no simulation, no edits.
I’ve been using Fujifilm for a few years now, and I just love the warmth and tone I usually get from a film camera, which I absolutely adore.

Scouted @becomingvenuss a while back at an @oakpilatesclub event and instantly insisted my girl to hop in front of the camera. Fast forward we connected again to test and loved how these came out. Also thank you Mik for assisting as well 🫶🏾
Last month, I had the honor of working on a story for the New York Times: This Couple Is United in Art and Life, but Can He Save His Wife’s Legacy?
Spending time in Athena Tacha’s studio with her husband Richard Spear was a moving experience. I was surrounded by the works she dedicated her life to creating, and by the love and care Richard pours into preserving that legacy.
This story made me reflect on the importance of preservation — how the work of an artist continues to live beyond them, and who we entrust to carry it forward. It left me asking: who will uphold your legacy?

As a photographer, I’ve learned that creating images is more than just a photo — the impact goes beyond a picture. It’s about the story, the strategy, and how people connect with what they see.
Just sharing a few books I’ve picked up along the way that shifted how I understand branding, storytelling, and marketing. Each one has helped me think differently about the work I do.
📌 Save this for your reading list, and let me know if you want me to break down what I’ve learned from any particular book — I’ll make that another post.
A peak into how I’m resetting to close out the year with intention. ✨
This season is my own version of The Great Lock-In. Pouring into myself, living, learning, and staying grounded before the year ends.
I was able to attend the recent @apple workshops with @craftandrelease and @chrispyrate , and it was so inspiring. 💫 I had such a great time, and it’s just one of the many ways that I’ve been pouring back into myself.

Over the years, I’ve learned that branding isn’t just about pretty visuals. It’s about psychology, positioning, storytelling, and how you consistently show up.
These podcasts gave me different perspectives on all of that — from personal branding and creative direction to strategy frameworks and authenticity in marketing. Each one has played a role in how I work with clients and build my own brand.
✨ Save this post if you’re looking for your next listen, and drop your favorite branding/marketing podcast in the comments so I can check it out.
AI isn’t replacing photographers/ artists — but it is reshaping the conversation.
I tested out some image generation in ChatGPT and brought it to life with KlingAI (peep the animation 👀). If you’re curious to try it, you can use my referral link in bio to get 50% bonus credits on your first month.
But let’s be real — I don’t think AI is going anywhere. And honestly? It doesn’t need to. I believe there’s space for both innovation and intention. True art will always speak for itself. Real brands, real visionaries, and real movements will continue to invest in real creatives. That’s never going out of style.
We’re not competing — we’re evolving.
Let me know your thoughts on AI + creativity in the comments. Also if you’d like to see some more of how I’m using AI👇🏾
Ps. The video is a little messy it was my first stream bear with me.

Pulled up to @somewhere.cafe for this week’s episode of The Brand Café — part of my Workspace Diaries series where I share the cute, cozy spots I work from while building all the things.
Chill energy, dope pieces to shop around, and the matcha? 10/10 easy.
Definitely adding this one to the rotation.
