A call for NYC storytellers 🗣️
Submissions for RELEASE 011 are open and we’re looking for stories about the FEAR.
Tell us a story about fear. Introduce us to your greatest fear, your irrational fear, your inherited fear. The fear that followed you for years or arrived all at once. Tell us about the time fear kept you safe or the fear you had to face to become who you are. Tell us about fear of failure, fear of intimacy, fear of being seen, fear of losing someone, fear of starting over. Tell us about the risk you almost didn’t take or the city or place that scares you. Tell us about the first time you felt fearless. Tell us about the greatest lesson fear has ever taught you.
How to submit: Apply using the form in our bio
Deadline: May 30th, 2026

Tickets are LIVE for RELEASE 011: FEAR ⚡️
On 6/10 at @acehotelbrooklyn we’re sharing stories about risk and avoidance. Stories about panic, protection, courage, survival, and the moments we almost turned back.
We’ll explore the fears we inherit, the fears we hide, and the fears we eventually learn to face. The ways fear has kept you safe. The ways it’s kept you small. The ways it’s transformed you.
