Happy early Birthday @jackfreestone . Time is more valuable than money, so what better way then to celebrate you then doing a strike mission and doing all the things you love. Surf (twice),sushi, Jiujitsu coffee, Avo toast and some family time. You live a blessed life and you enlighten everyone with your kindness and energy. A week later and the destruction and pollution is still there. The strength of our community and time will heal all this. Proud of my island community and the love from the outside world. I know several people personally that have gotten very sick after surfing this last week. I love surfing more then anyone and im not going in for at least another week. Not worth it. Today was the first time my son got to feel what it’s like to put all the different disciplines we’ve shown him all together and it was way more fun and better movement than I expected. If you know Bear, he’s not aggressive (which is why this experiment is so fun for us) so it was cool to feel intensity and technique from him. I think I only caught a hand full of waves in 2 hours but surfing with groms today was one of the funnest sessions I’ve had this winter. 2ft sandbar + Jr guards/groms = pure happiness. @florence_marine_x@bearhugsfoyle@northshorejrguards
2nd stripe. Been a black belt for almost 9 years now and never going to stop training. Thank you to @alliancebjjhawaii for giving me a home and the honor of being your black belt.
