I would say I was sand suffering more than sand surfing . Amazing time learning to ride sand in Holland & Belgium. Racing a vets race on our first day was certainly in at the deep end!
Well that didn’t go to plan. Could always have been worse….. Lincs was riding super well, really rising to the occasion.
During qualifying he landed heavy stepping onto the table, injuring his ankle, after an X-ray at Solihull A&E it looks like he may have fractured his Talus in his left foot.
Gutted for him, he’s worked so hard for it & even still qualified 5th after only 3 laps . He finished the session even jumping a rhythm section on it before being carried to the medics.
He’s taking it super well, we are all a little deflated.
He thinks he’s racing Belfast but will have to see what the fracture clinic says. Fingers crossed it’s just a bad sprain.

Week 2 on the @brixton_bmx refurb . We have Added height & true radius to the turns with a fresh layer of tarmac . Another turn & some jump reshapes to complete next week .
