My first arena show, shooting Richard Ashcroft!! The show was great but I did get vomitted on, when coming back so yeah that wasn’t ideal. What made this better was the fact it was a press pass I achieved through my own publication @squeeze_magazine and the gig was exactly a year after I started concert photography. ONE YEAR OF CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY!! One year ago on the 6th April I made my first post on this account, since then I’ve done A LOT and met many new people! So thought I’d make a cheeky soppy post (sorry). So firstly I’d like to say thank you to @thebunkercic because I started out as a gig volunteer there which gave me the connections and confidence to pickup a camera and start shooting, a great little venue I’d recommend to anyone wanting to start out no matter what it is in music! Secondly, a big thank you to @benrichardson___ who I first met blackout drunk at a marketplace gig (I am still embarrassed by that) but yet despite the horrific first impressions, he offered me the job as Inde P’s club photographer, which has helped me expand my creativity on top of that, the fella has literally given me a press pass to every Independent gig! Big thanks to @itsjennydean not only does she run @ganonsun which is a class publication, but I did her press shots in spring 2025 which from my point of view somewhat put me on the Sunderland map and it was my first paid photography booking! Honestly the list could go on an on and on so here’s a few local bands/artists that have supported me: @odysseybandne @critch._ @woolband_ @lottiewillismusic . And here’s a cheeky lists of big bands I’m proud I’ve shot: @theroystonclub_ @richardashcroftofficial @overpass.band @theksofficial @palewaves @courtneybarnett Lastly, I started my own publication called @squeeze_magazine which has been successful so far and I’d like to thank everyone that has contributed and followed us! This made me cringe typing it, but hey ho, have a look at a few of my favourite shots over the year!
