Guests walked in dressed in black and deep, gothic tones, and we knew the whole day would feel out of a movie. Cara and Arthur did not just “hint” at a theme. They committed to it. Their gothic-themed wedding at
@chapelvalleyfarm in Eustis felt like medieval fantasy brought to life, the kind of wedding where every detail actually matches the story.
Cara wore a black gown that shimmered when it caught the light. Arthur wore black too, with an elven pin as a quiet nod to the worlds they love. The groomsmen carried swords from Arthur’s personal collection, and after the ceremony they raised them overhead in a guard of honor.
They tucked their ceremony into the woods with carpets down the aisle, rich draping, and dramatic red florals by
@sweetjulietdesigns . The light filtered through the trees in soft pockets, moody without feeling dark, and it made portraits feel effortless across the property. Cara and Arthur shared a first look before the ceremony, then exchanged tearful vows and included a hand-fasting ceremony that made the whole moment feel even more intentional.
As the sun went down, the reception leaned even deeper into the mood, gold candlesticks, black books, lanterns, witchy details, and a glow that made the barn feel intimate and warm.
