Outsiders II marks the introduction of Kudbeu and Kana — new aliases from South African producers Pierre Johnson and Simeon — and serves as a bold continuation of the world first explored in Pierre Johnson’s solo album, Outsiders. With this new chapter, the two long-time collaborators step outside their established identities to dig deeper into a more textured, immersive take on deep house.
Crafted over half a decade through studio sessions, voice notes, and shared late-night ideas, the album flows with lush textures, warm analog synths, detailed percussion, and emotive progressions — an ode to introspection and groove.
