Exploring intentional spaces embalmed in sound at the In The Mix event at the @thelncc with @nothing x @teenageengineering 🎧 🎹
Walking into the space felt like an interior designer’s fever dream. Seeing rooms with such character build a catacomb of expression turned this venue for a clothing store/showroom/music venue into an experience.
It felt like an experiment of harmony between music, fashion, art and design. A happy family.
Was a real pleasure experience the magic of @preciousreneetucker for the first time! The audio is from a piece that she performed on the night. We’ll post that clip soon too if you want it.
Thanks to the team for inviting us! The room held the energy.

a year of cheer 🎄
never imagined that 2025 would be the year BYOV would become one of London’s biggest vinyl nights and how the community would grow.
a little passion project to bring people together over a common love for good music and vinyl turned into a weekly congregation (and often dance party).
as we’ve grown our vinyl book club & ARTAL sessions as well, we’ve really found over 15,000 of you in the last few months.
Welcome to the community. Let us know how you found your way here and what got you interested. 2026 will be shaping up pretty damn well.
Love to our founder @kshray and the one reporting to you daily across the airwaves @cerys_mason ✨
somebody shook my hand and said “this might be the best musical listening experience I’ve ever had in my life” and the little boy inside me cried a little.
ARTAL (A Response To Attuned Listening) sold out for the first time. 60 beautiful souls chose to immerse themselves in a vinyl deep listening session of Jeff Buckley’s Grace last week.
the listening experience was unlike anything we’ve experienced with amazing sound provided by the hi-fi legends @sound_services .
the setting was unlike anything we’ve hosted in, and created such an intentionally intimate space for sonic exploration. A big thanks to @andsoulsanctuary .
we were also excited to share a brilliant video note for our listeners from award-winning director @amy_berg ahead of the @itsneverovermovie release!
but the most amazing part was the conversation. We spent a month on research, but when we opened up the floor for people to share, that’s when the magic happened.
we watched as hearts burst tears of release, we witnessed whimpers of catharsis, and we felt a community of music lovers come close to hold each other in space & sound.
thank you to everyone that attended, and those that wanted to but couldn’t. You embodied the spirit of ARTAL better than we’ve ever seen before.
last week, we truly showed what it means to redefine the experience of music.
we can’t wait to show you what’s next. ARTAL episode 5 - ??
let us know what album to do next in the comments.
as always, thank you to the team without whom we can’t do any of this without : @kshray@cerys_mason@sarasherain
until then…
Keep Listening,
MM
