It took 10 years to become the woman who could write and complete this body of water.
Yet it took 1 full year March 2024 to 2025 to actually write and record it…simultaneously, there was a spiritual shift happening within me alongside the creation of this project.
I’ve had a tug-of-war with trying to create albums over the years, and it just never worked out. But this has been the fastest project I’ve ever written. It more so felt gifted to me, to give back to You. It is my soul, printed in sound waves.
This album is my own Book of Psalms, encompassing the full range of human emotion, beginning with the struggle of faith and arriving at something unshakeable. It is my life refined by God, set to sound.
I didn’t make this to fit into any box or for a specific audience. These are love letters and conversations with The Most High that became a musical offering.
To everyone who played a part in making this possible, my heart is eternally grateful!! Thank you for your time, your efforts, and the love you poured into this with me. My creative team, you are the BEST!
