I’m very happy to share part of the process behind this wonderful piece. It’s the first horizontal painting I’ve done on canvas, and achieving this composition was quite a challenge. It’s also the first time I’ve painted this cute dog. The funny thing is, I used to only see this dog in movies and on the internet, but now I see him everywhere. The last time I saw him was on our last visit to Paris while we were strolling through the Jardin des Tuileries ✨

La esencia de esta obra es una reflexión sobre la distancia y el aislamiento entre las personas, incluso cuando han compartido momentos significativos en el pasado.
En esta obra se quiso ofrecer un acercamiento entre el hombre y la naturaleza, sabiendo que existe una evidente distancia entre ambos, distancias proporcionada por nosotros mismos, aquí se quiso mostrar la perfecta complementación que no vacila en ser una extraordinaria armonía entre el dia y la noche.
A pesar de que el hombre y la naturaleza son Perfectos Extraños a pesar de que siempre hemos coexistido, invitamos a reconocernos y a acercarnos cada vez mas ya que ambos somos parte de un todo infinito, en la actualidad podemos evidenciar que en este momentos hay una gran distancia que nos separa, acercándonos a nuestro prematuro fin.

For many years, I have been fascinated by the exploration of diverse non-pictorial supports. Having the opportunity to develop this artistic research has been deeply rewarding. Creating this work through the combination of multiple materials was especially compelling, as observing how they interact and merge into a new unified whole is an experience that is difficult to fully express in words. Each non-pictorial support brings its own distinct meaning, whether through its aesthetic qualities or its symbolic resonance.

La exploración de diversos soportes extra pictóricos ha captado mi atención desde hace muchos años. Poder desarrollar esta investigación plástica ha sido una decisión profundamente satisfactoria. La creación de esta obra a partir de múltiples materiales me cautivó, ya que observar cómo los materiales dialogan entre sí y se integran para dar origen a un nuevo todo constituye una experiencia difícil de explicar. Cada soporte extra pictórico aporta un significado particular, ya sea por sus cualidades plásticas o por la carga simbólica que posee.

In my artistic practice, alongside the development of pictorial and visual research, I am deeply concerned with issues that I seek to conceptualize through symbolic and artistic expression. Themes such as nature, animals, pollution, and environmental exploitation are central to my work.
On this occasion, we present part of the process behind a woodcut print whose main theme explores the pollution and exploitation of our seas and oceans an exploitation carried out intensively and, in many cases, unsustainably, as though the marine environment were an inexhaustible and infinite resource.

En el arte, además de desarrollar una investigación plástica y pictórica, en mi caso existe una preocupación que me inquieta y que intento conceptualizar por medio de la manifestación artística y simbólica. Temáticas como la naturaleza, los animales, la contaminación y la explotación del medio ambiente forman parte central de mi interés.
En esta ocasión mostramos parte del proceso de una xilografía cuya temática principal aborda la contaminación y explotación de nuestros mares y océanos; una explotación que hemos llevado a cabo de manera intensiva y, en muchos casos, insostenible, tratando al medio marino como un recurso inagotable e infinito.

This time, we took part in the @colors_festivals in Paris.
The relationship between humans and nature has always fascinated me an ongoing tension that feels both deeply personal and universally shared. For this mural, I explored that idea by painting two monkeys.
I’ve always felt a special connection to animals, but monkeys, in particular, have stayed close to my heart. They remind me of my childhood of curiosity, instinct, and a kind of wild intelligence that feels strangely familiar.

En esta ocasión participamos en el festival @colors_festivals en la ciudad de París.
La confrontación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza ha sido un tema de interés desde hace mucho tiempo, convirtiéndose en una preocupación tanto personal como colectiva.
Tomando esto como eje central, en este mural pinté dos monos. Debo decir que me encantan muchos animales, pero este en particular es uno de mis favoritos. Además, es una especie con la que tuve una gran cercanía durante mi infancia.
