It was with genuine sadness that I just read of the passing of the magnificent Marianne Faithfull. She sat for me a few years ago and amongst the images was this, my favourite of all the portraits i ever shot. Sometimes you know when you are in the presence of a very special soul and this was one such occasion. May she rest in peace š #mariannefaithfull

Still playing with this image. I think this will become a new episode in my The Escapologist series. I like this character and i can feel a narrative journey evolving with her as the protagonist. My processes for creating images has evolved dramatically and iām now combining photography with VFX techniques to literally build components and materials like skin, clouds, water, fabric. Itās painstaking work but it is SO rewarding. Iām not going to participate in the AI space. That technology, for me, is too restrictive. Share your thoughts with me on this image. The Waiting... Have you ever found yourself on the subway, in a hotel lobby, or at a bar, seated opposite someone? When your eyes meet, the tension builds, and that awkwardness sets in as you realise a mutual attraction. The uncertainty of not knowing if something will happen or when it will. There's an innocence in that moment before crossing the line.

Prior to transitioning into art photography to pursue my own projects, I had the privilege of collaborating with Q magazine and Lily Allen. The shoot was nothing short of extraordinary, as we had the opportunity to incorporate a panther on loan from the Buckingham-based private zoo. The resulting shots were truly remarkableāfearless and powerful. This particular image stands as a testament to that unforgettable experience.
