Sheer Anxiety is the tandem of Chris Strunk (the drummer who famously plays his drums with butterknives) and New England by way of Argentina noise super star Andrea Pensado (voice and electronics). Traveling with them is Oscar Rodriguez whom I've been told combines sounds and text in a variety of ways. Cinema of Photodeath is a live sounds and 16 millimeter projections, I saw their performance last month up Downeast and was completely blown away. KOVVNS is an excellent long tenured local purveyor of dark drones.
