We will be ending our first show of the year, „LOOKS PERFECT TO ME“, with a reading of exhibiting artist Jan Koslowski’s text „( verweile doch )“ , read by Luisa Gaffron, Fabio Mazzocchi, and Jan Koslowski. Finissage & Reading „( verweile doch )“ 07.03.2026 - 5pm @kos_lowsky , @lluluisa , Fabio Mazzocchi Artwork: „VOYAGER 3 ( verweile doch )“, 42x29,7x0,1 cm, copperplate laser engraving, 2026 Jan Koslowski outlines a drama, a scene of everyday life, in his work „VOYAGER 3 ( verweile doch )“. From sentiments that could be the artist’s inner monologue to daily observations of life in the city, the piece is sectioned into a prologue, followed by acts and a final epilogue. Sharing dimensions with a DIN A3 page, the work plays with standardized formats for printing. Sizing up from a traditional A4 page, the work is not detached from its provenance as a piece existing on a computer as a document, written in Arial typeface. The work does, in a way, exist in this format. The exhibition text for „LOOKS PERFECT TO ME“ is the same prose as the one engraved into the copperplate, and printed on A4 for visitors to take home.
