“The Line Dreams” is the main exhibition of the Madrid Design Festival 25, hosted at the Centro Cultural de la Villa Fernán Gómez. Curated by Javier Riera, with advisory support from @room_diseno .
The exhibition design, crafted by our favorites Studio Animal (@javijimeneziniesta ), explores the tangibility of light and how it can itself become a building material. Seeking balance between the light that bathes and reveals the displayed works and the light emitted by the pieces themselves, the pedestals emerge as floating halos of solidified light—turning the intangible into something tangible.
This concept also gave birth to the exhibition’s graphic identity. These solidified halos in the shape of pedestals serve as the central idea that structures the entire visual system, creating circular compositions that function as typographic halos throughout the exhibition, providing visitors with the information needed to navigate the space.
The exhibition features the work of 45 creators and brands who, through more than 70 pieces and installations, explore the contemporary connection between design and light.

We are thrilled to present the latest work we have developed for Suarez. This iconic brand, with its long tradition, sought to renew its image and adapt it to the present day. To achieve this, we have designed a visual system tailored to the various communication needs of the brand. The new identity incorporates elements that reflect the classic values of the company, while also featuring visual resources that embody a contemporary and fresh essence.

On the occasion of the exhibition “José María García de Paredes. Espacios de encuentro”, we have had the pleasure of designing the exhibition catalog.
Curated by architect Ángela García de Paredes, the exhibition spans four decades of García de Paredes’ career, from 1950 to 1990, showcasing previously unseen materials such as sketches, photographs, plans, and models that contextualize his work within the cultural, architectural, and artistic landscape of his time. Highlights include projects like the National Music Auditorium and the Aquinas Hall of Residence, as well as his close connection to music, which shaped his innovative approach to designing large auditoriums.
The exhibition, a collaboration between the Fundación ICO and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, is in its final days and can be visited at the Museo ICO until January 12.

We recently had the privilege of collaborating with architects Pachón Paredes and the Museo ICO in the development of the visual identity, communication, exhibition design, and catalogue for the exhibition “José María García de Paredes. Espacios de encuentro”, commemorating the centenary of one of the most influential architects of the second half of the 20th century.

The exhibition team developed a visual and spatial narrative that organizes the content into stages and themes, connecting the architect’s projects with their historical and cultural context.

JUICE CREATIVE PRODUCTION is a production company specializing in art, photography, film, and fashion, offering creative and efficient solutions through a strong network of industry professionals. From editorial shoots to commercial productions, they provide full support while fostering an inspiring work environment.
Last year, we developed their visual identity, communication system, and website, built around the concept of blurred imagery—symbolizing the mystery of unseen final results. This idea extends into a structured typographic system that organizes key production details, revealing the work upon publication or interaction. Soft-focus gradient backgrounds further enhance the concept, creating a cohesive and dynamic brand language.
TBA21–Academy and the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza present Organismo | Art in Applied Critical Ecologies, an experimental independent study program that connects research, theory, and speculation through a series of case studies and regenerative interventions that explore different forms of alliances. The project aims to explore new methodologies and actor configurations in service of ecological transformation processes.
For the development of the visual concept, a visual universe has been created based on objects, figures, and speculative creatures born from the fusion of iconographies of possible futures, using artificial intelligence as a tool to help build from a universal imaginary.
The visual communication system focuses on the specific needs of a program of this nature, mainly for digital and editorial communication applications. The idea is to create a flexible system with an infinite combination of figures and gradient backgrounds that enables dynamic and ever-changing communication, while remaining readable and easily identifiable.
*** All content are fictional and used as Case Studies to illustrate the structure of the graphic system.
Thanks to @tba_21 , Rosa Ferré, and @mariabueygonzalez and all the TBA21 Organismo team
For the seventh consecutive year, we are honored to design the ‘Prizes in the Humanities’ book for @ieuniversity IE Foundation. Very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in the Océano project for the ‘L’oceà Parla: Noves ecologies i noves economies del mar’ exhibition at the Disseny Hub. The exhibition was designed by @javijimeneziniesta and curated by @jlvicente , and for it, we developed the signage and graphics inspired by the bioluminescent creatures of the deep. Thank you to everyone involved, to Javier, and to the entire team at Studio Animal and the @dissenyhub for their trust.

Acid has established itself in recent years as a specialty coffee shop of reference, with a commitment to high quality products and a know-how in all its preparations that take all its bakehouse, coffee and take away products to the next level.
Coinciding with the opening of their two new stores in the capital, all three located in strategic parts of the city center, they proposed us to make a new positioning and branding to formalize and consolidate the brand.
Regarding the visual identity, we created a brand architecture by creating namings for the stores that were defined by the function they performed within the Acid structure, generating a descriptive coherence between store/function.
We kept the original Acid logo, a Madrid icon created by Futuro Studio, which we didn't want to change. We did a slight redrawing keeping intact the essence that makes it so recognizable.
All its elements and resources orbit around the logo. From the tagline "Cafe, bakehouse and shop", descriptive of functions but also of its three locations, to the rest of elements, product labels and derivatives of the brand that may be created in the future.
So, a new visual identity is built, focused on the quality of the product offered by Acid, with a casual, close and contemporary tone, and a special emphasis on adapting to the needs of each of the premises with the minimum possible elements.
Special thanks to @pauladealvaro for her contribution

101 Contemporary Art Ecuador is the first volume of a series of publications from @eacheve that undertakes the most extensive review of artistic practices and their main protagonists in the country today, with the participation of over 120 artists and 300 projects.
The project analyzes emblematic works distinguished by their thematic orientation and the character of their formal and conceptual contributions, while also shedding light on the cultural, social, or political context of the moment of their appearance. The selection and texts of this first volume were carried out by curators and art historians who closely witnessed these processes, such as Rodolfo Kronfle, Cristobal Zapata, and María del Carmen Carrión, whose perspectives contributed to shaping the emerging contemporary art scene of the country.
This book showcases the diversity and creative power of Ecuador’s almost unknown artistic production, positioning it for the first time as a focal point of great interest and uniqueness in the region.
A special stage in perpetual metamorphosis (II). At a certain time, in a certain space, is the second chapter of a project of invitation to intervene in Gaviota’s space during a specific time. The exhibition as a specific time and space wrapped in certain institutional logics that clothe the exhibition event under a specific type of routine.
We have had the pleasure of collaborating on the project by creating the visual identity and signage for the exhibition for its second consecutive year. Many thanks to @christianlagata , @espaciogaviota@burr.studio , @feriaarco and the rest of the artists involved.
