CONVOCATORIA ABIERTA para los ‘Recorridos nocturnos’ de la exposición ‘CAUTÍN’ de la artista Seba Calfuqueo, que abrirá sus puertas el 6 de octubre en el @museothyssen . Se aceptan propuestas hasta el 31 de mayo de 2026. TBA21 y el @museothyssen lanzan esta convocatoria para artistas, performers, escritoras/es, investigadoras/es, activistas, científicas/os, creadoras/es y trabajadoras/es culturales residentes en España. Además, abrimos la convocatoria por primera vez a la recepción de proyectos en formato taller. Los proyectos deberán orientarse a los temas centrales de la exposición. ‘CAUTÍN’ presenta el río no como un curso de agua, sino como un territorio inteligente compuesto por rocas, espíritus guardianes, arena, animales, plantas y seres humanos. Proposals will be accepted until 31 May 2026. TBA21 and @museothyssen launch this open call for artists, performers, writers, researchers, activists, scientists, creators, and cultural workers based in Spain. For the first time, the call is also open to projects in workshop format. En torno a estas cuestiones ha girado la actividad pública ‘Esto no es una cartela’, desarrollada por Alexa Jeanne Kusber en el marco de la exposición ‘Pedagogías de guerra’ en el @museothyssen . Los Recorridos Nocturnos ofrecen la oportunidad de experimentar la muestra desde otra posición en la que el espacio se convierte en un lugar de creación y reflexión conjunta. Las obras textuales de Jenny Holzer tienen una función pública. A menudo concebidas como instalaciones al aire libre, inscriben el espacio público con una textura distinta. Often conceived as outdoor installations, they inscribe public space with a different texture. There is also an element of self-portrait in her texts, a reconfiguration of identities reflected in their shifting language: “By the time I got to ‘ARNO’ (1996), which began in the middle of the AIDS crisis, I was emotional. I wasn’t writing a manifesto, or a cliché. Then I retreated from feeling in my writing,” she explains in an interview for Even magazine. ‘ARNO’, a pair of white marble benches engraved with text, marked a shift from declarative works like Truisms to something more poetic and emotional. It stands as a testimony to the collective grief that marked the AIDS epidemic of the late 20th century. Surge, más bien, de una serie de reflexiones. Los conflictos a gran escala sí transforman los comportamientos, llegando incluso a la normalización como forma de supervivencia. Los artistas también hacen referencia al término ‘pedagogías’ como una manera de ofrecer al público la posibilidad de observar la guerra contada por gente del país, vive allí y desde la lente del arte. // “What do we learn from war? The title of the exhibition by Roman Khimei and Yarema Malashchuk is not about learning from a conflict like the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Instead, it comes from a series of reflections: while war does not teach us anything, large-scale conflicts do reshape behaviors, at times becoming normalized as a way to survive. The artists also use the term ‘pedagogies’ to give audiences the chance to see the war through the voices of people who live there and through the lens of art.

Del 24 al 26 de abril, la fundación acerca su trabajo editorial al público local.
