Meet Alex ( @koiattack ) on bass guitar. Based in Brooklyn, Alex has been playing bass for a long time, but only started learning jazz in 2022 when he joined the informal jam group that would become Lazy Shell. He takes as much influence from James Jamerson, Tim Commerford, and Joe Dart as Koji Kondo, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Toby Fox. Besides bass, he plays oboe with @press_start_orch , plays the (regular-sized) guitar, and has also performed his own material.
