My senior thesis film “YURA YURA” has finally finished screening and I could not be more proud of the work that my team and I have put together. I am so grateful for every member of the cast and crew, as well as everyone who donated and helped to bring this vision to life. I really could not have done it without you guys. It’s hard to believe that I almost didn’t make this film but I’m so glad that I did. It was truly a gift to be able to make something where I could be creative with no restrictions. And what’s more, I’m so proud of the work that we were able to create. I’ve been hesitant to post these stills since the film is still incomplete and not ready for a festival run. 「風梵」 KAZE SOYOGI Shot on expired Vision2 500T A very improper film stock test. I was mainly curious to see what kind of artifacts would occur with expired film stock. Overexposed/compensated for the expired stock by rating it around 100~150 ASA. Lit only using tungsten units. Even after trying to correct the footage back to a “normal” look, I felt myself leaning towards the funky colors of the expired stock… Excited to test more with different film stock in the future 👀

What a weekend! It was my first time shooting an ensemble cast and it came with some new challenges and problems. Thankfully I had an amazing crew who had my back all weekend!
