@danielle_titus_ wins Best Actress at this year's LA Crime and Horror Fest in NoHo! Congratulations to her! Thank you to the entire cast of hardworking professionals. The human element is what makes stories work and Tasting Room is full of just that, to no fault of mine!

Udo! One of the few actors who straddled between exploitation and art-grant movies and automatically made them all worth watching. I had to go way back in my phone's history to get this awful video out but I'm glad I got to sit in on this QnA he did at the American Cinematheque a few years back, it was one experience that made me fall in love with cinema all over again.
Congratulations to @elizabethmaehler for her win in Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design for Tasting Room at the November 2025 Indie Shorts Fest competition. Elizabeth was one of the first collaborators I brought on to Tasting Room as I knew the costumes in this short picture would have to introduce the characters better than any words could. The carefully curated colors including Olivia's bridal look and the Host's wine colored tie were all her decision, done without any fitting sessions due to the time constraints of student filmmaking. Glad to see her work is paying off!
