If/When is officially selected for Melbourne International Animation Festival (MIAF)! This marks our third Melbourne festival for Ollie and Az! š§”š @animationfest
We made If/When as a reflection on time and connection, and seeing it continue to resonate, especially in a place that values animation and storytelling so thoughtfully, means a great deal.
Thank you, MIAF for making space for this film. Thank you to all who continue to support If/When! šļøāØ

Conversion practices ā which attempt to change or suppress a personās sexuality or gender identity ā are harmful and damaging. They are now against the law in NSW. Anti-Discrimination NSW has launched a new video made for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities sharing culturally safe information about the LGBTQA conversion
practices ban and the support available to mob.

We are honoured to have worked with Anti-Discrimination NSW to create a new targeted video made for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, sharing clear and culturally safe information about the LGBTQA conversion practices ban and the support available to mob.

Everyone deserves to be loved up by their mob.

It was so nice to take the time this week to attend the launch of a video we created for Anti-Discrimination NSW at the beautiful Parramatta Library. The video is a specific resource for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities regarding the new law banning conversion practices for LGBTQA people.
The event was hosted by hilarious and proud Indigenous actress @stephtisdellcomedy , featuring special guest speakers Chris Csabs (Co-founder, SOGICE Survivors) and Christian Tisdell (Transforming Aboriginal Outcomes - DCJ).
Closing speaker, ADNSW A/Director Mia Zahra shared information about the new civil complaints scheme and the difference the conversion practices ban makes in helping people feel safe and respected.
We absolutely loved working with Gillian Stokie and the dedicated team who made this all possible.
This video resource is available in Auslan, Arabic, Greek, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese. See link in bio to access all versions on the ADNSW website.

Care Guide: A GUIDE FOR THE BAPTIST UNION OF VICTORIA - PROVIDING SAFETY FOR LGBTQA PEOPLE OF FAITH
We worked with @veohrc and @the_buv to create this useful booklet that explains the Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Act 2021 in the context of the Baptist faith. It is an honour to be able to support queer and trans people of faith and wonderful to see faith groups, like the Baptists of Victoria choosing to fully embrace and support their queer and trans parishioners.
