As an archaeologist of the future, I uncovered two artifacts in an endless desert—remnants of those who came before. Research revealed they contain a lost civilization's dreams of the ocean.
In their world of sand, they possessed only written descriptions of seas, yet could not resist using grains to simulate the rhythm of waves. By reactivating these ancient devices, we experience memory of memory: impossible tides imagined by minds that never knew water.
This is the final work of my MFA journey at Goldsmiths. I am deeply grateful to my teachers, technicians, teaching assistants, and fellow students who have supported me over the past two years, as well as to all the friends who came and shared the wonderful experience together. It has been an unforgettable experience. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
A tiny performance I did last year. Finally calm enough to post this online. Emotions will flow and we can’t keep it maybe it’s time to let go. Thanks Marcus for the great pictures.

This project is a wearable mask installation that reflects the two emotional states I’ve experienced over the past year, highlighting my deep need for companionship.
The mask adjusts its movements and background music based on data from a seat sensor. When someone is seated, the mask‘s movements slow down, and the music becomes calm; when the seat is empty, the mask exhibits restless movements, accompanied by screams and chaotic noises. The design is inspired by psychological conditions such as social anxiety, separation anxiety, autophobia, and dependent personality disorder.
Through the mask’s dynamic behavior and sound changes, the project expresses my fear of loneliness and my reliance on companionship.
The exhibition space is designed as a combination of a cage and a boxing ring, symbolizing my internal struggle and the desire to confine others within my inner world to achieve emotional peace.
During the exhibition, I performed a piece in which I wore the restless mask and, initially, was alone in the space, murmuring to myself. The murmurs were processed through a Max/MSP patch, transforming them into disordered audio that conveyed anxiety without clear meaning. In the second half of the performance, I invited two audience members to sit down, and as they did, the mask‘s movements became more relaxed, the background music turned peaceful, and I too grew quieter. This transition from restlessness to calmness illustrates my need for companionship and the complexity of my inner emotional world.

Two years in MFA computational arts in Goldsmiths. Memories flashing back…
I have to say it’s legendary in many ways. I’m not ready for the next season…
Thanks to everyone for sharing their works in the garage. It was spontaneous, but we made it into something nice and intimate. A garage is always in-between — between the private and the public. And it became the place where our bodies were found.

We found a body in Kiki’s garage!
But was it ever human?
Each performance is a clue:

This performative installation, inspired by shamanic traditions, explores themes of transformation and rebirth through a cocoon-shaped structure. During the performance, the performer uses her staff to light up sensors embedded in the cocoon, manipulating light data to generate dynamic soundscapes. These sounds reflect the energy of nature, culminating in a celebratory dance that symbolizes rebirth.
💛
The cocoon represents a transitional space between old and new identities, embodying the process of human transformation.
