Owshi this song is out. My guy @vincelucero made this beat years back and asked me to put some magic on it but somehow we all ended up just being on it instead. We also got my home boy @rm.onefloor to do his stuff on it as well and got @polet.png to grace us with her visuals.

As the first album I handled as knōwmaad, Changin' will always have a special place in my heart. (of course it's emotional goddamn what'd u expect)
In making this with @itsofmercury , we all learned a lot of things as we figured our way out of going where the album wanted to go and became better friends because of it. Things haven't been as kind to me lately as they were a few years ago but this album was comfort knowing that I was making something soul-fulfilling with kindred spirits and for that I am thankful.
To all the engineers who got involved in this project thank you for putting up with my bullshit. Those long ass discord calls weren't easy and you should be proud of yourselves 😅.
And @nickazurin for always keeping me in check. Ngl he made this project work despite some stuff.

Grateful to finally release this track out into the world. Inspired by the traditions of pre colonial Philippines and equipped with the kulintang, we wanted to blend our heritage and culture with modern electronic elements/production. To me this track is an offering and celebration of our ancestors and the indigenous peoples of the Philippines. A reminder of their fight to express their identity freely and advocating for their continued sovereignty 🪶
