Im Rahmen eines Fachkurses der Freien Kunst an der Bauhaus Universität Weimar entsteht eine künstlerische Gruppenausstellung für die Landesgartenschau in Leinefelde Worbis.🌿 Der Fachkurs wird von Karla Zipfel @karlazipfel und Florian Hesselbarth @florianhesselbarth seit dem Wintersemester 2025 geleitet. Die Ausstellung vereint künstlerische Positionen von 10 Studentinnen und Studenten, die in Auseinandersetzung mit dem „Blumenblock“ in Leinefelde-Worbis entstanden. Ausgangspunkt der Ausstellung ist die unmittelbare Interaktion mit den leerstehenden Wohnungen: serielle Räume, die ihre eigenen Lebensgeschichten in sich tragen. Jede Wohnung erscheint als Variation eines vorgegebenen Konzepts, geprägt von persönlichen Bedürfnissen und charakteristischen Vorstellungen des Wohnens. Gerade diese Gleichzeitigkeit von Normierung und Individualisierung bildeten Grundriss für die künstlerischen Arbeiten. Die Ausstellung fragt nach Formen des Zusammenlebens, Kollektivität in vergangenen Systemen, nach Rückzug und Privatheit sowie nach Idealen des Wohnens und deren Transformationen. Sie sucht nach Lebensspuren, die sich bis heute in den Räumen eingeschrieben haben. Es wird die Idee der Gartenstadt mit gegenwärtigen und zukünftigen Vorstellungen von Lebenswelten in Beziehung gesetzt. Im Zentrum stehen Raum, Erinnerung und gesellschaftliche Utopie – verstanden als Formen kollektiver Organisation und zugleich als Speicher subjektiver Geschichten. Die Ausstellung macht sichtbar, wie Wohnen, Biografie und gesellschaftliche Ordnung miteinander verbunden sind. Sie verdichtet vergangene und gegenwärtige Vorstellungen von Gemeinschaft zu einem Raum als Ort kollektiver Erfahrung und persönlicher Erinnerung. Chasing Paper 📍 Universitätsbibliothek/Limona (Steubenstraße 6/8) 🥂 5.2. 19h ‘Chasing paper’ is more than an exhibition—it’s a scavenger hunt through the shelves of Limona, the university’s art and design library. Thirteen students have created artist books hidden in plain sight within the stacks. Visitors are invited to decipher a specially designed floor plan to locate each work. The books exhibited push the boundaries of representation and storytelling through unexpected materials and unorthodox forms. Collectively, they explore themes of tactility, accessibility, and temporality, encouraging close attention and interaction. ‘Chasing paper’ is presented by students of ‘Wait, later this will be nothing’, a Bauhaus Module led by @harry.copas . opening hours: 6.2.-14.2. FLUX Diploma-Project / 2025 Buba Beboshvili / @cizznn Experimental short film / Video installation / Publication Presented at @bauhaus_uni Library FLUX is an experimental film, exploring the themes of belonging, displacement and distant memory. Set against a backdrop of shifting spaces and relationships, FLUX reflects on the repetitive nature of the human experience, where each transition brings both the possibility of belonging and the risk of alienation. Blurring the boundaries between the inner world of emotions and the outer realities of social life, the film offers a meditative exploration of identity in FLUX. ARTIST STATEMENT Buba’s work spans experimental film, new media, image rendering, and video installation. With a foundation in the film industry, he specializes in experimental and fashion films, as well as music videos, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to direction and storytelling. The core of his practice is a continued exploration of the dialogue between the present and the unconscious. His work interrogates the boundaries of repetitive human experience and engages with themes such as escapism, memory, gender, and identity as forms of symbolic transformation. These explorations manifest through visuals and fragmented narratives, evoking liminal spaces where time and meaning become fluid.
