I have been collecting unsolicited nudes from dating apps and using them as references for a series of handmade textile works. The title – the exact messages I received together with the photos – translates to:
“Hello/Good evening/What are you into/Are you coming now”
It was displayed in the exhibition „SCHWEISS – Panorama Romantischer Relikte“ (“SWEAT – Panorama of Romantic Relics”) in the former “Panorama Fitness“ gym at Goetheplatz (Weimar) with @kuenstlersozialklasse last summer. There was a huge window dividing the room that enabled me to install it with the backside fully visible 👾
