Throwback to one of my many Klassic Ol' Skool Freestyle Cyphers routines during my dj sets. When it comes to HipHop? It only takes Two Turntables & a Microphone to rock a spot! But it also takes both the DJ and MC to move as one—feeding off each other’s energy, timing, and rhythm to keep the crowd engaged. The DJ controls the vibe through music, while the MC brings the voice and connection that keeps the audience alive. When they’re on the same page, the entertainment feels effortless, and the crowd feels every moment.
So this right here my MC veteran homie whom also produced for so many rap legends such as Epmd, Onyx, Sean Price, The Diplomats (Dipset), Mobb Deep, Das Efx Busra Rhymes and many others;
"AGALLAH THE DON BISHOP aka 8-OFF" originally of Purple City is on the Mic rapping to the beats i'm spinning, but as he starts switching up his flow;
I immediately caught up to it and started adding some flava to the instrumental by messing with the fader.
By us reading each other and going with the flow on how we're performing; The crowd got into it and jammed the entired time of my cypher.
Peace to NY Finest my homie

Salute to one of West Coast HipHop Forefathers "RODGER CLAYTON" co-founder of UNCLE JAMMS ARMY 👑🫡💯💯💯
Here's a Throwback when I needed to acknowledge years ago one of the most important trailblazers that helped pioneered HipHop in the West Coast! and that's the one & only the late great legendary;
"RODGER CLAYTON" aka "MR.PRINCE".
Years ago I requested for our West Coast HipHop Pioneers to start receiving a " THE HIPHOP PIONEER AWARD" which got granted with the full support of my fellow HipHop Museum West Coast committee board members.....So the first one I nominated was the game changer himself who broke boundaries & one of the greatest party/concert promoters of all time! as well as one of the forefathers of West Coast HipHop; "RODGER CLAYTON" aka "MR. PRINCE" co-founder of the iconic dj promoting crew "UNCLE JAMS ARMY" also known as "UNCLE JAMMS ARMY". It's only right when the museum is up and running that Rodger Clayton's legacy along with Uncle Jamms Army members whom are now legends & icons in the music / film industry gets it's proper recognition for paving the way for the West Coast HipHop as well as their contribution to HipHop Culture in general. Huge shout out to my fellow HipHop Museum West Coast committee board member "SILKY D" for helping me make this
"THE HIPHOP MUSEUM PIONEER AWARD" happen!!.

THROWBACK to when I had the honor of paying homage to the big homie and one of the hardest legendary MCs, Straight from Brownsville NY & Duck Down Records very own; "SEAN PRICE aka SEAN P aka P! aka MEGATRON aka KIMBO PRICE aka MIC TYSON aka RUCKUS aka RUCK" originally of "HELTAH SKELTAH / BOOT CAMP CLICK" who's one of my favorite MCs!!.
The homie PAWZ ONE booked me to do a Duck Down mix set for a tribute event to "SEAN PRICE" who transitioned a week prior to the tribute event. I met "SEAN P" twice and the first time we met, it was outside a venue and he had his fist ready to bust incase I didn't come correct.....LoL, But the second time we seen each other it was at another event where I opened up for him as he was the headliner and this time he greeted me with the utmost respect and calling me Fam. Wish I could of have built with the OG and worked on a project.....But at least we got to know each other. So it was indeed my honor paying homage to a good man and one heck of an MC!
*Note: The day after the event Duck Down Records called me to thank me for being part of the tribute. Salute to my homie "PAWZ ONE" who organized it and having me as one of the guest DJs on the line-up. Also the shirt I'm rocking of "SEAN PRICE" was a custom tribute shirt for the event which I still have to this day.
HipHop really do miss SEAN P!
Peace 👑🫡💯💯💯

RADIOTRON 40th Year Anniversary......
Here's a Throwback to the annual park jams anniversaries of the historic and one of the blueprints of West Coast HipHop; "RADIOTRON" celebrating it's legacy. This was the very first time I didn’t help organize / promote and instead I was just one of the guest dj's on the line-up. It was cool being in the kut enjoying myself with everybody else and not working running around producing making sure the program was going as planned. I did an all vinyl old skool set along with my boy "TOQUON THE MC" as The Master Of Ceremony hyping up the fans as we were giving the event that original RADIOTRON vibe for all the Poplockers & Breakers in attendance. It was indeed a pleasure hitting the stage to honor a brand that helped contribute established HipHop Culture in the West Coast and being the official home where so many Iconic & Legendary B-Boys, Poplockers, DJs and MCs came from. "RADIOTRON" 40th Yr Anniversary was indeed a good day at the park with a massive crowd jamming with us!!!.

It's always dope seeing & catching up with some of my HipHop homies at the legendary FAB 5 FREDDY's book signing / after party a couple of weeks ago. If it wasn't for the contributions of "FAB 5 FREDDY" introducing HipHop globally? We wouldn't have somebody customizing unique air brush animated characters making it one of the most renowned legendary apparel in HipHop.....We wouldn't have somebody co-founding one of the most iconic record labels that released so many klassic hit records in HipHop....We wouldn't have a passionate photographer helping today's moden day brand which is one of the biggest platforms in HipHop and we wouldn't have someone still persevering the Culture for HipHop! It's just amazing how far HipHop came!....That's why we all came together to support one of the architects of HipHop Culture. Also big ups to Stones Throw Records & 89.9fm Kcrw for a dope event!!.

Legendary group "DIGITAL UNDERGROUND" very own "MONEY B" & "DJ ALWAYZ" and Myself at the homie's Ras Kass & Swoopes "FIVE MICS" 1year Anniversary jam a couple of weeks ago. That Thursday night "MONEY B & Young Hump" had the club poppin'!! They rocked all the klassic Digital Underground's hits!. Last time I seen this fellas together was at my fellow Likwit Crew brother "Tash" of Tha Alkaholiks music video shoot "Splash" a couple of years ago, which by the way I was dealing with a huge fever that day but the energy "Money B & DJ Alwayz" brought to the video shoot made the filming fun making me still have a good time regardless how I was feeling and thats exactly what they did at "FIVE MICS"; They made us party having a good time!!.
