When passion persists you can feel an MC's powerful persona. This was true for
@thaynoe from day One. I first met him during an early screening of #thisisthelife at the Downtown Independent Theatre. He was upstairs on the rooftop fiercely freestylin his ass off, going so hard it was as if he was auditioning or even like battling anyone who dared hop in his one man cypher. We as OG Blowedians dig that kinda energy and basically always want the smoke, so u know I had to spar with him, catch a few bars let him know we still active at this LOL...
but then it got real....because he kept coming wit more fiyah more barz like he was relentless, and then I kinda realized like Ohhh, he think niggas ain't still fluid like we all here to watch some back in the day ass old heads who ain't still got it, lol, so he made me really have to go in...and man, I swear we rhymed back n forth for like 30 min to an hour to where I wasn't gonna leave til he knew we still da truth outchea, BUT he definitely gained my respect from then on, and I think I gained his...
So that's why I came and got him for those first PB22 and PB23 Anniversary Concerts that I presented, and would always check in on him and came to have that same kind of crew love for him as well....
Yo this card was long overdue in Blowed Universe and no cap was gonna make it soon and I wish we did make it for him to see it, but I'm sure he's seeing it now smiling in proud approval from the hereafter.
Everyone I'm sure has a similar story (please share yours in the comments as we honor and remember our young MC brother) about sharing time with u dawg, that was just one, but u will be sadly missed and #neverforgotten because u left a real impression.
Sending love and strength to all who knew and loved you, Asé 🙏🏿🕊️💡❤️ God bless...
