Today I finally mustered up the patience and courage to setup the #tascam M208 (all analogue mixer from the 80s) that my good friend @clouddriver_ left with me a while ago!! 🤓 it was a pain trying to figure out how it works… lots of plugging and unplugging… but the result is now I have my bass, elektron, keyboard all hooked up simultaneously and I can finally jam with myself!!
Used to have to record everything separately with my measly two input interface but THOSE DAYS ARE GONE.
Very excited to see how the new setup aids in creating music :) and can’t wait to plug more stuff in 😝

從長號到貝斯到跳舞到美食，這幾個月隨然常晚睡、行程滿滿很常不在家也很常跟 @cl___l_l 說掰掰，但是真的很好玩很開心, 學到很多😌
當管樂組加入團隊的時候其他人已經一起演了82場，所以真的很像加入了一個大家庭。

During recording I felt some tightening in the low mids giving way to punch and sustain, so it allowed me to open up and feel comfortable in all registers of the instrument.
At some point I going try feeding the Motor City DI’s transformer with hefty gain from the OptiFet: I think it’ll be rather tasty.
For now, getting ready for another week in China with the 陶喆Soul Power II+ crew!
