Went to my first SF Pen Show! To summarize it, I basically spent $10 to go and collect stamps. 🤣 I had fun running into @wh1te_h4t.journals first, getting a chance to downtime chill with him and then getting to hang out with the Dino Army for the rest of the day. Thank you for taking me to do the signature rally @wh1te_h4t.journals@staly.ng and also thanks Sammers for letting me know that my Sailor x Yoseka Stationery Fest pen came with a converter the whole time LOL (I wasn’t limited to using only cartridges?!) Man raffles are a whole different ballgame when you’re splitting the group across raffles happening at the same time.
My haul: I got two free inks (Colorverse: SF Pen Show San Francisco Fog and Monteverde: Cherry Danish) Bought my first ink! (Colorverse: SF Pen Show 2024 San Francisco Bay - teal shade) I was able to get the @thousandskies x @pinkyelephantcraft ink cards and stickers. (They recognized me!!) Also some @sakuradragon stickers
Then the other day I found out about FountainPenCompanion.com so i added my 3 bottles. To find out I can also add my cartridges too. So I am up to 11!

I didn’t take many photos on my phone during @cryptfiend1 and @emii_nito ‘s reception day. But here are the remaining unposted ones saved on my phone. lol though i guess outside of my selfies, these technically are the ones I asked someone to take for me since I was in them 😂. #4-5 are my favorite ones i took using @emii_nito ‘s phone and asked her to send it over so I could post it. 😂 All the other content I caught using her phone you’ll have to check her posts/reels to see the rest.
It was definitely a Day from the 4am phone call that I picked up because the hotel staff was calling because the makeup artist had arrived. All the way to the very end with helping wind tunnel @emii_nito get undressed at the end of the night. Months later post event reflection, and you know what? I’d still do it all again the same way. Every last bit of it.

Anyways, since I was giving the speech below, this was the speech I did not record on Amy’s phone. So here’s the text! So you two can relive it because who knows how much you remember by that point in the night 🤣
I met Jason first. We were both in the Davis Anime Club and it was the end of the quarter Fujis. This is an all you can eat sushi resturant. If you know Jason you’re like why is he at an ayce sushi?! I noticed there was a guy at the other table who was only eating fried chicken. Like me! I was like this guy has good taste. I need to be his friend.
But how does this relate to Amy? Lets go back to the very beginning. Ever since i could talk i would ask my mom for a sister. And to name her Amy. Amy Nguyen. How come all my cousins had a sister? Where’s mine? I was lonely and wanted someone to talk to. Well…
So you can guess my surprise when one day Jason was messaging me that he was seeing a girl. And to guess her name
Jason comes back for Picnic Day. Jason and Amy were barely together back then and none of us even met Amy yet. We are talking weddings and Jason tells me of his plan to propose when he reaches 7 years. Back then he already knew.
Lifetime of adventures later. Covid. Trips. Exactly 7 years with Amy he proposes.
If you know Jason he is very picky. But if he likes something he really likes it. Thanks to Jason’s love and care I have seen Amy grow from a skinny underweight little worm to this beautiful and healthy adult butterfly standing before you now. Jason has spoiled Amy to bits. She eats good, he takes her traveling internationally multiple times a year staying at massive hotel rooms and I know she’ll be in good hands. If you ever get a chance to travel with them or even go to disneyland with them you’ll get a taste of what I mean.
Thank you Jason for bringing Amy to the family. She’s the chismosa we always wished for. Lets party.
One cool thing about traveling is being able to see pop up exhibits and the other cool thing is being able to still see friends even after they move away for their cool adult jobs. (Why you all move away ;-;). (thanks southwest for making all this happen with your flights to BUR and STL.)
Also I became level 48 in pokemon go back on aug 11. Took 6.5 months. Since i got to level 47 jan 28. I got to level 46 on oct 24 2022. 1 year and 3 months. Its interesting because i caught way more pokemon and spun way more pokespots between 46 to 47 than from 47 to 48. 🤔 but probably i will be stuck on level 48 for the next two years

Felt approriate to also add a photo of my @amandarachlee / @shoparl.co planner collection that I use for work. And a photo of my Travelers now after 5 months traveling with me. APS 2024 photos part 2. I got back from the field trip at like 10:30 PM LOL. So when i went to Beale street and took the trolley, i got the whole trolley to myself. Sneaking in a few more photos from the field trip. Frog eye leaf spot on soybean. We learned about cotton grading based on debris amount. And how actually the best grade cotton that you want will be the one that comes from California?! Because the moment it starts to rain the quality of not yet picked cotton drops. And finally a where’s Tivonne Waldo photo taken during the seed health HTS panel LOL

APS 2024! memphis TN! My 6th APS. I am always lucky that my company sends me to APS. Here are some photos and videos from our field trip! We got to ride on a wagon pulled by a tractor. They passed out shoe covers and ponchos for the trip. But I came prepped and bought my field shoes. XD We saw soybean plants (taproot decline pictured), corn and cotton. At the field, we learned about how in Tenessee they don’t till between plantings (otherwise all the heavy rain will cause erosion and wash all the top soil away). I saw spore traps with microscope slides taped to them. Then we got to see a field drone fly, learned how it was used to collect overhead disease photos and the importance of ground control points for reference . We also saw how field spray from tractors work.
Also a photo of the best dress during Day 1 poster session. She made her previous old poster into a dress!

After the 2020 water lantern festival got cancelled, delayed and then rescheduled another location, I finally got to go to it this year! You decorate your lantern and you release it onto the water. But dependent on wind and current not many actually “go out to sea”, more like they just bunch up at the dock. 😂 if you stick around until the end, its anticlimatic as the staff immediately pulls them all out at 9pm.

Went to Bishop Pumpkin Patch and I’m currently repping the cat airpods hat from @thousandskies . i may at this point have a cap to match every possible outfit color… 😂 One of the best things about going to Bishop Pumpkin Patch is their apple cider smoothie. The second best thing is that the hayride to the pumpkin patch is free.
