Just a few snaps from this incredibly fun and gorgeous redwood elopement recently! These two planned a day to perfection, having their ceremony amongst their families and then spending time on their own hiking through the towering trees and ending with some tequila shots b the beach before heading back to their VRBO to indulge in an amazing dinner and delicious cake with their guests. Excited to share more from this beautiful day vvv soon!
Emma said “yes” to Ryan while standing on what feels like the top of the world. After backpacking in the park for a few days together, Ryan got down on one knee and asked her for forever at this epic spot. It was such a sweet moment to capture and I truly don’t know that I’ve ever had anyone as surprised as Emma was in that moment. Ryan even packed a change of clothes for her for photos after, including her shoes and necklace. Pure joy all around and a huge congrats to this lovely, adventurous couple! ♥️
Heading to Yosemite today so it felt appropriate to finally post something new after a long hiatus.
Looking forward to spending some time with Half Dome, El Cap, and the Merced this week and capturing some beautiful new memories for a special couple ❤️
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible mothers in my life (I’m truly so lucky to be surrounded by so many in every aspect of my life) but especially to my own beautiful mom. She’s kind, she’s strong (both emotionally and physically—she literally does everything on her farm by herself 💪🏼), she gives the best hugs, she’s funny, she’s warm…I could go on, truly. But most importantly, she loves her family with everything in her heart and has always been an incredible example for me as a mom.
Love you @_lynnvina_ ❤️
These two braved an early morning for their sunrise engagement session and it was totally worth it—we had the entire spot to ourselves! Sometimes, there’s no way to avoid crowds because of a spot’s popularity but one way to work around that is opting for sunrise instead of sunset. Still golden hour, just less crowds. What would you choose? Sunset or sunrise?! ☀️
Sometimes a perfect engagement session is at your favorite national park, sometimes it’s your home, or maybe even a beach you visit often. Or possibly your favorite coffee shop within the town you call home, like Anyi and Brian chose for their session. All of these session locations share something in common: it’s where you feel connected to each other. Every couple’s story is different and your engagement session is just another way to tell that story and hold it close for all time. ❤️
Happy Friday y’all! Since it is should be spring but felt like winter again this morning, I’m throwing it back to another season: fall! This was my first real fall season in Georgia and the leaves did NOT disappoint. This family session was perfect timing for some gorgeous foliage and a beautifully sunny day 🍂☀️
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
It’s come to my attention that I have A LOT of content to post from some beautiful love stories ranging from epic proposals, beautiful families, adventurous weddings, and even a couple more *traditional* weddings thrown in there for good measure. I associate shot for @maisonmediaatl this past fall and these two had one of the most fun wedding days ever! While 9 times out of 10 I will choose an off the beaten path elopement, K + C’s wedding felt different—intimate moments and details but still filled with the really fun parts of weddings like lots of cake and dancing. Plus, once the ceremony was over, the newlyweds spent the rest of the night clearly having a blast, together ❤️
I’m still getting used to the world of southern weddings but if they are like this…sign me up!
Proposal season is coming and I CANNOT WAIT 🥳
Whether you choose to propose just the two of you (with me hiding in nearby to take photos, of course) or you bring along your closest friends, I’m here to help make that magic happen and capture every moment 🫶🏻
Took a little break from social media posting the past month to reset for this new year. I have some complicated feelings about coming back online at this moment, with everything currently going on, but maybe posting will help the algorithm show not only my amazing clients and their photos but also to spread the message that this has always been and will continue to be a safe place for everyone including immigrants, the lgbtq+ community, black and brown folks, an everyone that n between. There’s nothing but love here ❤️
Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, enjoy these adorable photos from Emily and Nick’s session with their fur babies this past fall while I was visiting in LA. Speaking of, be on the lookout for some potential LA dates popping up soon for spring—-reach out asap because space will be limited! ✌🏻
