Last July, I released a body of work that’s deeply tied to my relationship with dance and the people who’ve been pushing that journey for years. The exhibition was about highlighting dancers I’ve grown alongside, honouring their vulnerability, resilience, and their purpose behind the movement.
I wouldn’t be here without the classes,rehearsals, or workshops that created a supportive space, the friends I’ve garnered over the years, and the values that continue to shape me in dance community.
With the support of everyone who came through, we raised $2k toward mental health initiatives, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me, showed up, and made it possible.
