This sentimental track was written while in recovery after an illness and surgery. My friends checked in on me and I felt loved. When I was moving around again, I just wanted to dance (poorly) with my people.
I switched the narrative up a little bit and made it about checking in on any of your loves ones, “Hey, let’s get out of this room and go dancing. Yeah, we all look ridiculous, but we’re alive.” This one is extra special to me.
@rosecrud (beach bunny, motion city soundtrack, fall out boy) mixed it and made it sound like it wasn’t recorded in the basement 🙏 😭
@kjaudio mastered it and made it pop

Special project for client, large assist by @keech_design who made me this custom jig. A project like this can take FOREVER manually measuring and laying out and then hoping you get it right, but with a jig the entire project took me less than 20min!!!
