SOFA 2026 Season has started with a bang! Great long day on the water with @rayce_shake53 and @huntersteadman . Saw the sun come up, faced unpredictable flows on the river, (typical for this corp of engineers jacked up managed tail water) then saw the sun go down. We had decent numbers and as always, we had a fantastic time on the boat!!!! Always a great time on the boat with these guys and SOFA! Epic day on the water with @dsutton630 and his son Ryder. Blessed to be a part of Ryder’s first ever fish on the fly. Cold, wet, tough bite and rainy on the Caney Fork but Drew and Ryder stuck with it and made it happen. Can’t wait to have these two fishy guys back on the boat.

First all-female trip in the books, and what a day it was! 🎣 I had the pleasure of taking out Brittany Allison with @measurablymoremedia and the insanely talented songwriter/artist Carlyle Griffin @carlylegriffinmusic Neither of them had ever picked up a fly rod before, but they caught on fast and made it look easy.
The river may have been dead quiet (pretty sure the fish got word these two were coming 😉), so we ended with a zero day, but the laughs, the laid-back vibes, and the insight I gained about female excursions made it a huge win in my book.
