📻 Tonight! Joe is joined in the studio by Cameron Picton & Kit Mosely, who will be performing their two guitars duo live on air, alongside an interview amongst track selections including Captain Beefheart, Big Bill Broonzy & Bert Jansch. In October, Kit Mosely + Cameron Picton (Two Guitars) met for the first time when forming a new guitar duo for Dig That Treasure!’s Resonance FM fundraiser at Cafe OTO. Drawing on a long lineage of music for two sets of six steel strings, they have been playing both original works and repertoire, including Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, while also newly arranging non-canonical works such as Kenny Wheeler’s Sweet Time Suite. 2026 will see them return to Cafe OTO and other London venues with more attempts to expand the repertoire for Two Guitars. 🎸 Cameron Picton is a guitarist, bassist and songwriter best known for his work with the Mercury-nominated black midi. As a solo artist, he has informally released several albums worth of material and is currently in the early stages of developing a new band, My New Band Believe. 🎸 Kit Mosely is a London-based guitarist who plays with Martha Skye Murphy, Worldpeace DMT and FLOCO. He plays electric guitar, finger-style acoustic and has explored ambient, noise and improvisational music as part of the projects n.o. Um by Martha Skye Murphy is out today! It's been such a huge honour playing with Martha and the band for the last few years. And what she's done on this album is nothing short of incredible and i can't recommend it enough!
