Having a great time at the New Zealand nationals coming into the regatta was having a goal of top 15 and one top ten finish and I surprised myself of how I went considering the level of competition that was in the gold fleet with world number 2, some of the best from New Zealand and the top few from Australia the racing was close and fast pace one mistake race over.
It was great to see some of the Aussies in both silver and gold mixing it with the top guys and giving it there all I think all of the Australian team should be proud of there efforts.
