We’re so excited to announce our first Book Signing event taking place in Stocks Studio, upstairs from the shop! Join us at for an intimate evening celebrating Maxine Scheckter’s debut pastry cookbook. Maxine founded Sugar Flour Pastry School in 2019 after mastering her craft in some of the world’s top kitchens including The Fat Duck. Her book explores everything from delicate pastries and viennoiserie to seasonal tarts, desserts and celebratory bakes. Each recipe is designed to be achievable without losing the elegance and discipline that define great pastry work. Arrive from 6:30pm for a private, out-of-hours shopping experience in Stocks Kitchen. Afterwards, head upstairs for an aperitif and a dessert canapé inspired by a recipe from Maxine’s book, freshly prepared by our team. The evening continues with a short talk from Maxine, cooking demo, a relaxed Q&A and book signing. Tickets link can be found in our bio. In 2 weeks I will be on my way to Scotland for my UK book tour (how freaking insanely crazy is that sentence!!!!). As events start to become finalised things are feeling more real and more exciting! This one with the @cookbookshopedin is definitely a dream come true kind of opportunity and I just can not wait to be hosting a demo in one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world 🌍

CAFÉ CÙIL x @beardfoundation in NYC 🇺🇸 . Back home after a whirlwind few days back in NYC, this time celebrating the U.S launch of the Café Cùil Cookbook with my brilliant publishers @kitchenpress . It was an absolute honour to be hosted by @beardfoundation and being the first Scottish chef to cook at @platformbyjbf 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 THANK YOU for having me and thanks to everyone who came along to try some of our Cùil dishes! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be invited out to NYC to celebrate the book! .
