Some year. Thank you 2024, thank you God ❤️ - having my own book published and seeing it in stores across the country - filming my first tv advert - flying out on my first brand trip - playing in celebrity football matches for charity - winning the vice chancellor’s ‘rising star award’ from my university - travelling the world - appearing on live TV - working with some amazing brands - teaching the most incredible 2 classes at a school that feels like home - becoming a year group lead in my school - 8 goals and counting in football this season grateful for what I’ve achieved, grateful for what’s to come. Thank you for all of your support this year 🙏🏽

Today marks the end of one of the most incredible years in my teaching career, and my first as a year group lead. To my amazing Year 4 class…I could not be prouder of each and every one of you. You’ve grown in ways that go far beyond the classroom. I’ve watched you blossom academically, develop confidence, build friendships, and support each other with kindness and empathy. You’ve kept me going through some really tough days and I’ll always be grateful for that - I’m so proud to say I’ve had the pleasure of being your teacher. To the parents and carers, thank you for your unwavering support, your kind words, your encouragement, and for your trust. Your children have had such an impact on me and they are a true credit to all of you. To the wonderful year 6s leaving our school, many of who I taught last year, thank you. There was not a day where one of you did not stop by my classroom to say hello. I am so proud of the incredible young people you’ve blossomed into and I have no doubts you’re going to absolutely smash secondary school, I’ll miss you all very much. Probably the most physically and mentally exhausted I’ve ever been after a school year, but the impact and rewarding nature of the career I love has never felt greater.
