Had the best time chatting with one of my besties, @janessadadeofficial on the Find Your Wyld podcast @findyourwyldpodcast about building a business that actually fits your life (not the other way around). We talked about creating income from passion and creativity, setting boundaries that support both motherhood and growth, and why alignment matters more than just working harder. If you’ve been craving clarity and balance as you step into 2026, this conversation is for you. Because success doesn’t have to be loud, chaotic, or exhausting. ✨ Link in bio to listen, or search “Find Your Wyld” on Spotify.

When I first started building things outside of medicine, I honestly thought the idea was the hard part. It wasn’t. The hard part was everything around it. I was still an Emergency Medicine registrar. Still doing nights. Still showing up clinically. But suddenly I also had: – people asking for calls – ideas I wanted to test – conversations turning into opportunities – and absolutely no system to hold it all together What you’re seeing in this carousel isn’t “tools I recommend.” It’s the stack I earned by breaking things first. After 40+ podcast episodes, dozens of workshops, coaching clinician founders 1:1 and in groups, and building my first £10k+ in non-clinical income — I learned this the hard way: If you don’t design your customer journey, you become the bottleneck. I didn’t want to be loud. I didn’t want to be salesy. I just wanted to be clear — and to protect my time. So I built simple systems that: – let the right people find me – made it easy to start a conversation – removed back-and-forth – and allowed me to stay part-time clinical without burning out This is what “medicine as a side hustle” looks like in real life. Not hacks. Not hype. Just thoughtful infrastructure that compounds. If you’re a clinician with ideas, influence, or ambition beyond the ward — this is the part no one teaches you. And if you want help building your version of this — follow along, drop a comment, or send me a DM. You don’t need to do more. You need a system that finally holds what you’re already capable of. 2025: month-by-month Jan: seeing my book, visiting Hachette (my pub!) and recording the audiobook. The book’s starting to feel real…
Feb: finished the audiobook, went to Vermont to look for a house, cold walks on the beach
March: one month until pub day! A quick trip to FL to shoot content with my social team, flew to Chicago to be on @nathanbarry ‘s podcast April: MY BOOK CAME OUT!!! Seeing my book in Barnes & Noble IRL was surreal. What an honor to be on those shelves. Got to celebrate with a party in NYC (with my editor, Nana, and agent, Wendy!) and another with my neighbors & friends on Long Island. Also, I want that cake again… 🤤 May: a long weekend trip to Newport, RI. Back at home, got back to my beach walks. June: I gave a keynote at @kit Craft + Commerce, met so many people I admire. I was so nervous going into it, but I delivered a talk from the heart. Back at home on LI, Ryan and I spent time in the Hamptons, I got to go to a fun party in NYC with other creators. July: I flew to Austin, TX to speak at a conference and went on @jaypapasan podcast, The One Thing. Ryan and I took the ferry to Block Island, RI for a weekend getaway. August: was more chill — went to the US Open, ate all the tomatoes, and went to the beach to watch the sunset. Oh and we bought a cottage in Vermont 🤣 NBD Sept: I spent so much time on Fire Island enjoying the beach. We went on boat trips around our house & ate our weight in end-of-summer tomatoes. Oct: shopped with @artinthefind all day in NYC, dressed like a tennis ball for Halloween, visited the VT cottage and got an awesome hike in, and made our way to Mexico at the end. Nov: went to Mexico for a mastermind, back to Austin, TX to speak at The One Thing Summit, visited our place in VT, and went to the Packers/Giants game with Ryan :) Dec: flew to Chicago to re-record the Ultimate Bundle videos + lots of podcast episodes, took my team to the Christmas market & lots of yummy restaurants in Chicago, and ended the last 2 weeks of the year mostly in PJs and getting like 1,700 steps per day LOL.

2025 - a revival, recovery, awakening, and stepping into what I’m becoming 🤍 Looking back at all the pictures is eye opening to all of the amazing experiences and life I lived this year! I feel so much fulfillment looking back at the year! Amidst MANY challenges, hardships and things I didn’t know if I’d get through… I see joy, peace, love and gratitude 🙌🏼 Every year I can’t possibly imagine that it’ll be harder or better than the last, and each year proved me wrong! 🤣This year I embraced the hard things and found enjoyment through the good and the not so glamorous times. Things will always be HARD but we get to choose what is hard. We get to decide what we focus on… and I’m a firm believer that where you put your energy will multiply. This year was even more of a confirmation that the company you keep and people you surround yourself with are vital to your wellbeing (and success). I feel so damn grateful for the people I get to call these people my dear friends, family and husband🤍 THANK YOU 2025 🥳🥳🥳 here’s to the new year!

Reflecting on my 2025 and what a year of growth I had. I am not anywhere close to when the year started. It was a year of building back after the previous year of recovery. It was the year I started reimagining what my life could look like, and most importantly taking those steps. Some were baby steps, some were God picking me up and moving my roots. I spent time with my girlfriends, as woman it is the most impactful thing to be able to have a group of woman, your tribe that you are living this life with. My soul was on fire this summer being back on the fireline. The places it took me, views it gave me, and the people I met and reconnected with is beyond the power of myself. My word of the year was embrace: I believe I embraced change, new opportunities and growth for all that it was. I embraced becoming someone new. Embraced being right where I am in my journey. I embraced change when my plans didn't work out but Gods did. I embraced my faith more than I ever have. My goal was to read 15 books, I surpassed it and read 19. A heck of a lot better than my 5 I would do in years past. This is the year that I will remember as my developing year. I built and started a training and consulting company. I am leading a national study to roadmap first responder mental health resources. Currently single while manifesting. Some huge roadblocks have been removed, and wow, does that feel good. New beliefs established and been getting tested. 2025 brought me closer to the things I love. Mountain biking, yoga, wildfires, fur, making poetry, painting, skiing, deep friends, adventuring in nature and helping people. Onward to 2026 with faith, fire and an open heart! 🙌🏼🔥❤️

Thank you, Nathan Barry and the Kit.com team, for hosting a very fun holiday party last night at the Boise studios. Even though Caitlin and Allison showed up beyond fashionably late, it was a blast to catch up in person and enjoy Lexi’s amazing spread!

very hard to put into words how i’m feeling about the past 24 hours. the fact that the internet allows me to reach millions of people is amazing, but getting those people together in a room to connect and become friends is just a totally different feeling. i had this crazy idea of running an in person workshop for 25 hand picked people from my audience. in less than 2 months it went from idea to execution. for those who took the time to be there yesterday - THANK YOU - and if you weren’t there, but at ANY point you hit ‘like’ or bookmarked one of my crazy videos, from the bottom of my heart - thank you and a huge, massive thank you to @kit for supporting the vision and helping make this happen ❤️ photos from the goat @simonkmedia
