Kora, I remember the first time i saw you at the shelter, you were 4 months old with the cutest little half flopped ears just patiently waiting for us to take you home. We brought you home and not long after found out you had parvo (a deadly disease) so you lived at the vet for a week and we’d come visit you everyday. You had it rough for your first few months of life. But you were so strong and you fought so hard. You were my best friend as i was growing up, you had 22 acres of land to run free and we’d run it together. You loved jumping in the horses water buckets on hot days and catching chickens cause god knows there was too many of those anyway. You were my cuddle buddy even though you and maylee took the whole bed i didn’t mind id just try to squeeze in where i could lol. Even until the very end you were so strong, but you were ready. You brightened my days and I will hold you close to my heart forever. I love you ❤️🐾

So we did a big trip this year. Took a month off of work and took Amtrak trains across the US and then took a road trip up to the Grand Canyon when we got back. Here are couple pictures from our Grand Canyon trip, I will post more from our train trip soon. I am so in awe with the vastness and beauty of this place. 😍🚞🌄
