The very first photo I ever had published was a shot of @rickjackosup that made the @tracksmag cover.
Potentially I’m the only person who can claim that one.
To give you an idea how hard it is to get a cover of Tracks I only ever got one more despite taking thousands of photos as a professional since.
That was exactly 5 years to the issue later when I nailed this water shot of good mate and legend @kingteeth23 at Gnaraloo.
It’s so great that some of these mags still exist so that other photographers can experience the joy of walking into a newsagent and seeing their work displayed on the front cover. You never get paid much but the memories are priceless…
