KINFOLK 스러움이란 뭘까.
한때 한국을 휩쓸었던 킨포크 열풍. 너나 할것없이 sns, 잡지 촬영의 배경으로 등장했던 킨포크 매거진. 아마 당사자는 원치않았을거라 여겨지지만, 킨포크 잡지 속의 라이프스타일, 그건 문화적 럭셔리의 심볼과도 같았을거다.
여느때처럼 금새 바람같던 열풍은 혼자 연소하다 사그러들었지만,
킨포크는 언제나 그 자리에서 슬로우 라이프, 단숨함 속의 정제를 이야기한다. 아마도 유행의 굉음이 불편하지 않았을까 싶다(본인 또한).
KINFOLK 는 SLOW LIVING, 즉 일상의 순간을 빠르게 소비하는 것 대신, 천천히 음미하고 되새기든 삶, 미니멀하고 정제되어 있지만 차갑지 않으며 따뜻한 여백을 추구한다.
이러한 관점에서 킨포크 노츠(Kinfolk Notes)에서 향을 음미하고 즐기는 순간들. 이는 킨포크가 추구하는 일상의 의식화, 이와 가까이 맞닿아있다.
정제의 정점. 한옥을 갖춘 순백의@코너스퀘어에서 마주한 킨포크 노츠 팝업은 공간과도 함께 숨쉬는 킨포크의 다양한 향들은 일상의 멈춤을 제안한다.
