I can’t believe the Queen of Jozi has passed away. Maria and I connected years ago in the Braamfontein scene when Kitchener’s was breaking new artists and Boyz and Bucks ruled the streets. We worked on so many things, always showing love for our city and its cultural scene.
Maria was one of Johannesburg’s biggest champions — she promoted this city with all her heart and soul, always making sure Jozi shone.
Jozi will miss you, just like so many of us will.
