Was so good to watch @pink do it again last night. As she always does. Sharing light and love and talent and guts. Showing strength in tough times. Thank you Pink for the great performance.
However, as I watched last night I had to confront my reality that I never made the “end of tour” post that I wanted to for last year…
I’ve approached it a bunch of times. All in different ways to try and make the thing that I say be big enough to capture how big it all feels. And I just can’t get it there yet… working on it tho.
The short of it is that opening for Pink on the Summer Carnival Tour was…….

And that’s how far I get. Every time. And then stuck… Because it was just ……….
EVERYTHING.
…And then it was at least seven more things on top of that.
In 2011, as I was leaving my hometown Milwaukee, I made a bit of a joke that I was moving to LA for “airplanes and arenas”. Just thought it was a catchy thing to say in the moment… BUT THEN IT HAPPENED. And it wasn’t LA that put me in that seat or on that stage… it was Pink.
And since then it’s been country after country, venue after venue, hundreds of shows, and MILLIONS of people.
So while I will keep working on my wrap up, (and a new tour mix 👀 …) and while I can’t wait to share it with everyone when it’s done, today I’m going with a simple:

Being a part of your tour again was my honor and my pleasure and one of the highlights of my life.
With the tour dates moving around a bit and some unexpected downtime on my hands… it’s got me thinking about how fun it’s been rocking the stage with @thescriptofficial before the @pink shows. Truly been a blast!! I hope you’ve had a chance to see them live or at least checked out their new album!
