med nytt kunstverk av kunstnaren Marianne Berg.

Kunstnaren Marianne Berg frå Bergen, har budd og arbeidd i Kunstnarhuset Messen i april og har forma det nye kunstverket i Kunstparken. Dette er den tolvte kunstnaren som har fått oppdrag med å skapa eit kunstverk i Kunstparken.
Etter ei enkel opning ute i parken inviterer me publikum inn i Kunstnarhuset Messen til ei hyggjeleg stund med drøs, kaffi, te og noko å bita i. Velkommen !

We have a new sculpture in KHMessen kunstpark! @berg_marianneberg was invited to make a new work for the Artpark 2026! This month Marianne has been working intensively on the sculpture at Messen and now the artwork is ready and standing proudly in the sun at it's new spot in the park.
Official opening is 2nd May 2026! More info coming soon.

Congratulations on International Women’s Day. 💜
The KHMessen Team is proud of all the strong and special women artists who have spent a working period here over the last decade, as well as the women working behind the coulissen of the KHMessen residency. There are far too many artists to mention, but here is a small grip from our archive — a glimpse of some of the inspiring women who have been part of this journey.
But this message is meant for all of us!
Being a woman artist today means navigating a world that is still evolving. It means claiming space, making your voice heard, and continuing to create even when the structures around art have not always been equal. At the same time, it is a time of powerful networks, new visibility, and growing solidarity among women in the arts. Every work created, every story told, and every perspective shared helps reshape the cultural landscape.
Today we celebrate creativity, courage, solidarity, and the power of women in the arts. Thank you to all the incredible women who continue to shape, challenge, and inspire our community.
