To stand there and accept Outstanding Ensemble at the Green Room Awards on behalf of this team felt unreal.
Night after night, we stepped into the dark together listening, risking, holding the line for each other and somewhere in that, something alive took shape.

It stretched me in ways I’m still understanding — and I got to do it alongside a bunch of beautiful weirdos who brought everything to the table.

Radio Free Afghanistan offers a fascinating insight into the lives and legacy of the Mohseni family, something I never truly grasped growing up, despite visiting their Brighton home several times as a child. Reading it now, I’m struck by the scale of what was quietly unfolding behind those walls. It’s a testament to vision, resilience, and the complicated dance between media, politics, and identity. I’m grateful for the window it gave me into a story I was unknowingly connected to. #afghan #afghanistan #radiofreeafghanistan
