It’s taken me 48hrs to be able to write about “I Am Harvey Milk”. The show & the whole creative experience has forever changed me. The music, the message, the creatives- it feels like it’s going to be a core life memory. I have loved Andrew Lippa’s work for as long as I can remember & spending the week with him & hearing the creative process that goes into creating a masterpiece cracked me open. I have to shout out to the greatest of collaborators- director @kirk.jameson1 his vision & leadership this week has blown me away. Everyone that experienced this piece was so moved by your storytelling. Hearing the orchestra lead by @jonathanegill playing this score was utter joy, not to mention the 50 piece male choir. Thank you @robhouchen & @chorusproductionsltd what a feat pulling this spectacle off! To create movement for pieces of theatre like this is what it’s all about… 🧡
