This Mother’s Day, the Khalsa Aid Youth Leadership Team came together to honour Indigenous mothers at the Hagersville Six Nations Reserve.
The team baked cookies, made flower bouquets, wrote personalized cards, shopped for groceries to drop off at the reserve.
The project was completed by the youth from planning to shopping to delivery stages.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, Ravi Singh shares his personal journey and reflects on the importance of speaking to others and being open about your mental health.
Behind every act of service are human experiences, pressures, and challenges that are often unseen. By speaking openly, we hope to encourage more honest conversations around mental health, resilience, and the importance of supporting one another.
At Khalsa Aid International, we believe compassion must extend not only to the communities we serve, but also to ourselves and those around us.
No one should ever feel they have to struggle alone.

Every mother figure deserves to feel celebrated. 🌹
Our GTA team had the honor of visiting Centennial Park Place Senior Living, a long term care home, to share some love, cookies and roses for Mother’s Day. Seeing these smiles was the greatest gift of all.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who nurture and inspire us!
The Metro Vancouver team came together to prepare and deliver 40 gift baskets filled with pampering items & self-care essentials, and flowers for moms accessing the services of Sheway in Vancouver’s DTES.
We honour & celebrate 40 new moms, on this Mother’s Day, who despite the adveristy they are facing continue to care for their children with the help of Sheway’s staff.
