A full-circle moment I don’t take lightly. To be selected and featured as part of this year’s CultureCon Creative Class is something I’m deeply grateful for. Looking at the list of honorees, I see so many peers whose work I respect and admire—people who continue to challenge culture, storytelling, and what’s possible. To be included among them is truly an honor. Being recognized for embodying disruptive innovator energy means so much more than you think. It’s affirmation of the quiet nights, the risk-taking, the constant questioning of “how can this be better?—how can I do better and more culture shifting work?” I try every day to push myself and my team at @three20ex to think more intentionally, move with purpose, and create work that actually means something. @three20ex has officially made the dive into weddings. @bryantjacques718 & @sidmich_ didn’t see their altar until the moment they said ‘I do.’ Their only request? A whimsical outdoor wedding. Our challenge? Make it happen indoors in April in Jersey—without losing the magic. We built an enchanted forest under a skylight: turf, mossy mounds, a 12-foot gold altar arch, and butterflies + hummingbirds hidden everywhere. Guests walked through 8-foot photo pillars of the couple’s engagement portraits, climbed a dramatic staircase, and stepped into a ceremony that felt alive. The celebration carried the story forward—mini ceremony-inspired tablescapes, jagged gold table numbers, frayed-edge menus, island pride flags waving, @jaemurphy took us from NJ & NYC streets to Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad. Food overflowed, and dessert became theatre: cookies in wheelbarrows, cupcakes under umbrellas, milkshakes by the dozen, and a mobile shot bar. 💌 See the full story + all the details in our Black Bride Magazine digital exclusive.
