If you’ve been watching my designs lately, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been leaning into color a lot more. Not just adding it in but really using it in a bold, modern.
Because honestly, color is fun AF to design with. It brings energy into a space so quickly, and right now the industry is finally giving it the attention it deserves.
But here’s the thing…
More color doesn’t always mean better design. The goal isn’t to throw every shade into a palette just because it’s trending.
It’s about knowing how to use it in a way that still feels like you.
Sometimes that looks like bold, saturated moments that take over a space. And sometimes it looks like restraint.
Mina + Vivian’s wedding day at @hummingbirdnestevents is the perfect example of that balance. A mostly neutral foundation, layered with just enough color to keep things interesting.
