This bad boy’s out today! I’m very grateful to have made a bunch of noise on this record with some great folks, and I’m proud to see it out in the world. These last few years with @laineywilson have brought no shortage of milestones, but i think this one takes the cake. Congrats LW and co!

My first Jazz Fest was 2008 and Stevie Wonder was the 2nd Friday headliner on the main stage. Everyone in the crowd got soaked, but at some point the sky opened up, sun came out, and he started playing “Higher Ground” perfectly on cue. The sky most definitely did not open up during our set in the same slot this year, but I had more fun on stage than I ever have before and I’m very grateful.
